What Causes Rapid Heart Rate While On Thyroid Medication?

I am thyroidless and taking medication but lately feel like I am overmedicated with a racing heart, etc. I ve felt this way before and am hoping that the symptoms will resolve if I stop taking my thyroid pills for a few days then lower the dose. Is there anything I can do in the meantime to relieve these symptoms?

Hi,

Hyperthyroidism can cause high heart rate.

You can go for a TFT (thyroid function test) to check the thyroid status of your body.

If the hormones are on a higher side you have to consult your physician and make necessary adjustments on the dose.
