Hi Welcome to HCM. I understand your query and concern. You most probably have sinus arrhythmia which usually manifests as rising rapid heart beat. This condition is very common in young adults. This condition is absolutely benign and is usually associated with underlying stress or anxiety/panic attacks. The excess sympathetic hormones cause facial vasodilation causing the flushing or red colour appearance. All you need is to destress yourself periodically.Practice yoga and meditation to calm your nerves.Occasionally short term usage of anxiolytics like Clonazepam will be useful.Discuss the same with your cardiologist for expert management. Post your further queries,if any. Thank you.
