hey there

i need you to answer this:

why does my heart beat race for no damn reason?! im in alright health, i do cross country, but a few months i found i had high cholesterol which i am trying my butt off to rid, but really, why does it beat so fast?

Hello There

First of all i would like to tell you that some people do have high sympathetic tone due to which they have fast heart rates. Until unless you dont feel any discomfort there is nothing to worry for, but if its troubling you i would like to suggest to get one ECG done to make sure whether it is a sinus rhythm or not.
If its just a sinus tachycardia then we can start on a low dose beta blockers for few months. But if its some other rhythm then it needs evaluation.
