What Causes Rapid Heartbeat And Tingling Arm While Being Asleep?

I wake up in the middle of the night with a rapid rate and tingle in my left arm. It seems to be worse when I sleep on my side as if I m pushing my heart into discomfort. Usually I get up in a panic but have a drink of water calm myself and go back to sleep no problem and I ve noticed it usually happens around 2:00 am so usually an hour/hour and half after I go to bed

Hello,

The symptoms seem to be realted to a caridac issue.
It shoudl be evalauted through an electrocardiogram.
I sugegst to go at the emergency room as son as possible for further evaluation.
