What Causes Rapid Heartrate Along With Severe Headaches While On Excedrin?

I have been taking 2 Excedrin s every day for the passed week and a half but for two weeks I have been having a fast heart rate ranging from 120-145 bpm with horrible headaches and jaw/shoulder pain that comes and goes. Every time I go to the ER, I get ativan but it does not help. Today my blood pressure was at 143/96 and my pulse was at 133. I have also been light headed and black out. I checked my blood glucose and that is at 69 mg/dL. Should I head to the ER again?

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hello,

According to the history of your symptoms if you feel that you are not good yes you can go to ER. I suggest you to stop taking Excedrin to see if this is its side effect or not.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
