What Causes Rapid Raise In The Heart Rate While Having Anemia?

Hi,I am a 22 years old student.I feel that my heart beats stronger and I feel like my muscle is streching on left uper quadrant for 6 months. What should I do? I have come to doctors several times and they said that I have anemia while my only abnormal index was MCV = 80, I also checked for hyperthyrodism and the result was normal and I think I had peptid ulcer (not confirmed)thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I don't think this problem can be related to peptic ulcers since it is not much related to elevated heart rhythm or irregular heartbeat.
I think this has to do with your anemia. You should treat the iron deficiency anemia and the problem must be treated since your tests show no heart problems or thyroid problems.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
