Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi my 11 year old son has a rash around his neck it s not to bad and doesn t itch is Just tiny little bumps ... He got a snake recently and has it around his neck most of the time .. Could it be from that ? And if so could it be serious? Or maybe his skin will adjust to it ?
It could be of great help if you could send a photo of the rash around the neck of your 11-year-old son. I'm afraid the snake is testing your son and perhaps something bad will happen to him. So, I highly suggest not to keep the snake at home with you. Let it go to its normal environment. He might have pricked your son or preparing the path to cause him more serious problems including death from suffocating.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
