What Causes Rash In The Pubic Area After Unprotected Intercourse?
Hi there this is a pretty serious dilemma, I had unprotected sex Friday night & immediately I caught balanitus the next day. I ve had balanitus before hence knowing what it is. This time it was a whole lot worse than other times & also a rash appeared in my pubic region along with a couple of white head pimples along the base. Is this a serious matter? Cheers Rick
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can. These symptoms and signs are suggestive of STD especially if there is associated pain, fever, urethral discharge and recent sexual intercourse. So this is the first thing to rule out by doing STD testing. Second, it may be sign of uroinfection or other genital infection but this is less common. In every case, antibiotic therapy may be required so test should be done as soon as possible. I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
