What Causes Rash On Buttocks, Legs And Penis?

hi my name is Tina, my husband has a terrible rash that started on his buttocks, it has spread to his genetils on the inside of his legs, and even on his penis. he got cream from the pharmacist, it is called Lamisil. what would you suggest. the cream seems to help the itching, but the rash is still there. now we have only used the cream for 2 days

Hi.
As per your case-history your husband may have dermatophyte(fungal) infection
My treatment advice is-
1. Have proper hygienic care- Bath twice daily and keep clothes and other belongings isolated from other family members.
2. Take tablet fluconazole 150mg once a week
Take tab. levocetrizine 5mg twice daily
3. Continue lamisil cream twice daily
4. Use a clotrimazole dusting powder in axilla and groin
