What Causes Rash On Chin And Nose After Using Retinol?

I normally use rentin a on my face, for years, I recently got a pimple on my face and use oxy 10, I got a bad rash on my chin and the sides of my nose, I don t know if its the combination of product, or if its the retinol, the rash is red, raised, and pleeling

Hi.
As per your case history of pimple on chin, my treatment advice is -
1. Retinol is mild irritant, so it may cause redness after applying on lesion.
2. Apply a clindamycin gel like Glocin twice daily on it.
3. Don't squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
4. Other treatment options are oral doxycyline, azithromycin and vitamin supplements taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
