What Causes Rash On The Face Spreading To Different Parts Of An Infant?

Hi, my 5 month old grandson has a rash that first appeared on his face and has spread to the rest of his body. The rash started about 3 weeks ago when we had to supplement formula for breast milk (mom isn t producing enough). He was fine with the similac sensitive but we had to get the enfamil because of WIC. we took him to the drs. and they said it was scabies (without testing ). We have looked at pictures of both scabies and eczema and it looks more like eczema. Are there any other symtoms for scabies? He has had a slight fever today.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the condition may not be scabies or eczema but it could be allergic disorders and it can be given try with second generation antihistamine and best drug would be Levocetirizine, although condition may be self limiting hope this information helps.
