What Causes Rash On The Left Arm While On Levofloxacin?
Hi, I hope you can help me. I recently was on Levofloxacin and became allergic to it. the day I stopped I got a rash on my left arm. It looks like raised red bumps closely together, in groups of three or four tiny clusters in patches across my arm. Please help me? I can t get in to see a doctor for 4 days and if this is shingles I need to do something asap! my arm is sore and tender. Can you tell me what to do? thank you very much I m sorry, I can t afford to pay you. I m sorry I took up your time. I guess I ll just have to pray it isn t shingles...I have to pay the ER and ambulance for my reaction from the antibiotic
It could be due to an allergic reaction. As first-line management, you can take antihistamines like Cetirizine for symptomatic relief. If the rash persists despite the medicines, you can ask for alternatives.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
