What Causes Rash On The Shaft Of The Penis?

Hi. My partner has a rash (looks like razor burn) on the shaft of his penis, it is not ichy, painful, oozing or anything like that. Its just unsightly. He has had this same spot come and go over the past 5 months. I on the other hand have never seen this rash or anything abnormal on myself! What could be causing this rash??

Hello,
Possibility of a fungal infection or eczema must be ruled out.
As a first line management you can apply over the counter antifungal-steroid combination like clotrimazole-betamethasone for symptomatic relief.
If lesion persists better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
