What Causes Rash With Bruising On Neck,chest And Thighs?

I live in Florida and have developed a bruise like rash without any reason. I was treated by an MD with steroid shot and pills for a red rash on my neck and chest but the bruise like spots on my thighs developed after that without reason. I need to move back to California. I am so tired of the endless bug-bites I get in Florida when I walk outside my door. Than you.

Hello,

Rash with bruising on the thigh may be caused by bug bites. You can apply ointment Thrombophob, to clear off any blood spots under the skin. Take care of your hygiene to prevent spread of infection. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight. Taking non sedating antihistamines may help to reduce allergic reaction to bug bites.

Lack of vitamin C and iron may trigger symptoms. Take food rich in vitamin C and iron. You can also take supplements. Blood thinning medications may also cause such symptoms. Thinning of the skin in elderly may trigger bruising. Avoid addictions if any. however, you are advised to get clinically examined by a dermatologist to detect STI, ring worm infestation, contact dermatitis, etc. You will be treated accordingly. To avoid fungal infection, keep the inner thighs clean and dry.
