What Causes Rashes All Over Body?

I have been experiencing rashes in multiple areas of my body. They start out in round circles and expand during the day. I do have allergies, but i haven t had anything that I know of that could have caused this recent outbreak that has lasted over a week.

Hi,

Skin rashes occurring all over the body could be due to infections, allergens, heat, immune system disorders or intake of certain medications. Among all rashes, most common is due to atopic dermatitis (eczema).

I advise you to:
Apply moisturising cream, twice daily before the skin dried up completely
- Also, use topical steroid creams (fluticasone)
- Note: apply steroid first & then the moisturiser
- Do not apply strong irritating ointments
- Avoid contact of skin with swollen clothes
- Add antihistamines

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya Vasudevan, General & Family Physician
