What Causes Rashes All Over The Body Of An Infant?
Hiya my two year old has just broke out in what looks like a rash all over her back her stomach and her tighs, her knees have gone very swollen and she won t let us touch them withough her screaming shes also complaining of pains in her ears and her head.. Have checked her temperature and its ok, have you any idea what could be up?
It is possible that she may have a viral illnesses though the exact nature of the viral illness would not be known till she is seen by her doctor. There are also other causes but they are not as common.
Viral illnesses can cause a rash along with joint pain.
It would be best for her to be seen so that the exact problem can be determined and treatment initiated She may need blood tests if the diagnosis is not clear to rule out other causes.
