What Causes Rashes All Over The Body?

i woke up with a rash, small, now it has spread everywhere, all over my body. it doesn t hurt just itches everywhere. my concern is that it has now appeared on my face, and is affecting my eyes and ears. I can tell that my face seems tight. I have taken aleve, and tried to drink plenty of fluids, but can t sleep. Should I go to the ER

As per your complain it seems to be a severe allergic reaction leading to itching, rashes and tightness of face that can also be due to swelling over face..

Yes, you need to consult an Emergency room and get evaluated and they can give you a steroid shot for relieving the symptoms faster..

Along with it oral anti allergics like Levocetrizine, topical steroids and also cool compresses can help..

In case if there are recurring episodes of similar problem then you can consult an Immunologist or Allergist and get allergic tests done and once the cause of reaction is ruled out avoid exposure to it..
If needed you will be advised Immunotherapy..
