What Causes Rashes All Over The Body?

Over the past 4 months I have been experiencing rashes in specific random spots all over my body. Is almost always my back, my arms, my neck, my right hip and thigh areas, and the bottom of my feet, It itches severely and comes and goes within an hour or so. It looks like whelps and turns bright red and pink. I is worse at night or when I try to sleep and has even woke me up from sleep because of the itch. It is also warm to the touch when the whelps appear. I haven t changed laundry detergents, eaten anything different, or changed my soaps. . . Of course it never happens while in the presence of a doctor, by the time I get there the whelps are gone.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of rashes all over the body which seems to be compromised immunity of body, allergic reaction, contact dermatitis and seborrheic dermatitis.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to

- Apply cold compresses to rashes and take benadryl twice a day.

- Avoid exposure to dry environment.

- Avoid use of any hard cosmetics and drink plenty of fluids.

I would suggest you to consult allergy specialist for proper examination. Doctor may order patch test, allergy test , blood test for IgE antibodies and physical examination . Doctor may prescribe anti allergic medicine , corticosteroid ointment and anti inflammatory.
