What Causes Rashes Around The Vagina?

Hello madam/sir, I started developing some mild rashes around my vaginal lips. They mostly occur when my pubic hair grows long and when I shave they become red and look sore. When I apply ointment it gets cured and then when the hair grows back very small I start this itching and rashes back. Lately my vaginal is discharging some thick white discharge, no smell. I had sex twice before marriage which was some 6-8 months back. When I get vaginal itching and when I have sex during that time it gets normal. No itching for 3-4 days. This all started after my marriage. I married in October. Please tell me whether I m suffering from STD or not.

Hi, I think you should go for evaluation by a gynecologist. Get a pelvic examination done. It can be due to some infections. You may need some antibiotics and antifungal drugs. A vaginal pessary of antibiotics and antifungal drugs may be needed.
