Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. If you send a picture i can get more idea about it. If it is a blistering type of rash with associated burning sensation and itching then it can be genital herpes. Other wise it can be most likely fungal infection which gives a stingy smell and itching. It is better to show your GP or dermatologist to rule out the condition. In case of fungal infection ointments with combination of antifungals like miconazole and corticosteroid betamethasone will be helpful. In case of genital herpes local acyclovir ointment and Famcyclovir orally is usually advised for my patients. Hope this may help you.
Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
