What Causes Rashes/itching From Knee To Above Ankle After Total Knee Replacement?
I had a left total knee replacement 4 weeks ago. My knee healed just fine. Two-three days ago, my left leg started itching from the knee to just above my ankle. I used vitamin E and a lotion with cocoa butter and shea butter. Now I have a raised rash on the inner and back portion of my left calf and in inner aspect of my knee. What is causing the itching and rash? Thanks, DC
It may be a growth like wart or some skin tumor. You consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. Under local anaesthesia, he may remove it. There is no need to worry.
Hope this helps.
