My 13 year old daughter had gallbladder surgery on 4/8. She complained of severe pain which caused us to stay 2 nights vs one, however upon leaving had a weird rash and nausea. Long story short she started getting yellow coloring around her eyes and mouth, shortness of breath, increases pain to where her legs went numb with no feeling. Finally after weeks of ct scan, ultra sounds, MRI, blood work... they admitted her on 4/28 only because she couldn t walk or feel anything from her waist down. The last test they did was a basic xray. The xray was able to show that she had 20 feet of fecal impaction. After an intense digestive cleanse, she started to regain feeling with her rash fading, but now 6 days home and the discoloration of her face is back, with fatigue, tingling in toes and complaints of not being able to catch her breath is occurring. Could this be directly related to the initial surgery?
