General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms are indicative of cellulitis, get clinically examined by a GP. Neglect may cause worsening of the symptoms or may become life threatening. You are suggested to get it treated at the earliest. You will be treated with intravenous Vancomycin or cefepime, etc. Or you may be treated with oral antibiotics if the symptoms are not very severe. Get admitted and treated at the earliest. Do not stay at home.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
