Hi,

There are several potential causes of rashes on his body and a sore eye, including:
* Viral or bacterial infection: Some infections can cause a rash and eye discharge. Common examples include chickenpox, measles, and conjunctivitis (pink eye).
* Allergic reaction: An allergic reaction to something your son has eaten or been exposed to can cause hives, a rash, and other symptoms.
* Eczema: Eczema is a chronic skin condition that can cause red, itchy rashes on the skin.
* Heat rash: Heat rash, also known as prickly heat, occurs when sweat gets trapped in the pores and causes a rash. Contact dermatitis occurs when the skin comes into contact with a substance that causes an allergic reaction or irritation, such as certain fabrics or chemicals.
* Other causes: Other potential causes of rash and eye discharge in infants include diaper rash, insect bites, and medication reactions.

It's important to consult your child's pediatrician to determine the underlying cause of the symptoms. They may perform a physical examination, take a medical history, and order tests if necessary. Treatment for rash and eye discharge will depend on the underlying cause.

If it is an infection, antibiotics or antiviral medication may be prescribed. Antihistamines or corticosteroid creams may be used if it is an allergic reaction. In the case of eczema, emollients and corticosteroid creams may be recommended. Additionally, keeping the affected areas clean and dry and avoiding irritants can help reduce symptoms.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
