What Causes Rashes On Corner Of Mouth And Vaginal Area?

My wife has developed a rash on the corners of her mouth for 2 weeks & has now developed a rash on her vaginal area (including inside). She s very careful about washing hands etc. 60 years old, type 2 diabetic, hysterectomy 30 years ago, takes various meds for diabetes, thyroid, high blood pressure, cholesterol. None of her meds have changed other than dosage tweaking to balance everything out.

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Lesions on the corner of mouth together with lesions in the vaginal region make the diagnosis of herpes infection most likely. It is a viral infection and is common in diabetic patients.
I would suggest her to consult a dermatologist to get examined, investigated and treated accordingly.
