What Causes Rashes On Legs And Irregular Heartbeat?
Hi. I have episodes of bradycardia, sometime daily, lasting a few minutes up to around a half hour. Heartbeat about 45 often accompanied by irregular heartbeat. I am 60 y o female. thyroid tests come out normal. Recent vitamin D level of 8--should be much higher. I walk my dog each morning and that is most of my exercise . I am average build 5 8 about 150 lb. The episodes come at any time a day, sometimes even waking me from sleep. Stress may be a trigger sometimes during the day. It can be hard to breath, I feel very weak and mentally off. during the longer episodes my chest, neck and arms turn red and my hands and face grey. My arms ache with a terrible pain and sometimes some slight chest pain as well. I can function but it doesn t feel good and I am afraid of fainting so I usually sit it out or lie down. when I lay down my head pounds with a headache so I move slowly and keep my head up a little. one year ago I developed a rash of broken capillaries in my legs up to my knees and big bruises on my ankles. (the heart thing has been going on about 7 yrs) . I thought it was from hard work constantly on my feet at my job--concrete floor. Doctor asked me to change my diet but it never went away tho it is worse during times of great stress. there is no swelling in my legs except very minor after a very long day. I have never been tested for lyme disease. The heart thing is very scary and I really don t want a pacemaker if there is anything else I can do. I love tea and usually drink it every day if that makes any difference . Please can you help me? Thank you so kindly. Nancy
madam ur symptoms r suggestive of an impending CAD. better rule it out doing at TMT or Cardiac CT but the good standard would be an angiogram. do this ASAP ur rashes on the leg with no other symptoms suggestive of telangectasia which is seen in older women after menopause. sometimes it is called spider angiomas prerunner to varicose veins. God Bless u madam
