What Causes Rashes On The Abdomen With Tenderness?

I am a 42-year old female who had an abdominal hysterectomy and bilatateral hyster-salpingoophorectomy three weeks ago. I woke up this morning with a rash on my abdomen with tenderness to the touch. The rash is about 4 inches wide and 2 inches in length, and it is about an inch below the incision on my belly button where they inserted the camera. When I touch the bottom of the incision it is tender. I don't know what is causing this. I have been feeling great since my surgery. The only thing I can think of is that I rode my bike for 5 minutes a few days ago. Could that be it? Please help me. Thank you.

hi
thanks for asking
it looks like an infection of skin (cellulitis) of surgical site..........i would ask about your fever? if there is no fever then you should not be worried......you should do a full blood count.......meanwhile you should take painkiller tablets but not aspirin..........

and consult your doctor who performed surgery
