What Causes Rashes On The Back And Shoulders?

I have a rash on my back, shoulders, underneath my breast, groin with a burning and soreness on my shoulders and bra area, with skin peeling all over my body. I take hydroxychloroquine 200 mg. Can you tell me what’s going on. This is my second episode in 2 weeks.

Hi,

The rash could most probably be a frictional dermatitis or a Tinea infection (fungal infection). As you are having sore, I request you to apply an antibiotic ointment and take some antihistamine tablet for a week. If you do not get any improvement in a week, I recommend you to consult your dermatologist for further management.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Siva Subramanian,
