What Causes Rashes On The Body After Getting Blood Drawn?

I have bad spreading rash and bumps after getting blood drawn , it has been two weeks and is not goig away , I have used calamine lotion, allow, and wwnt to the doctors today to have it looked at, I thought I was maybe having an allergic reaction and break out originally from, a dog (Husky) or the new Contrive pill that I m on, but the rash didn t really appear until the drawing of my blood. What is goig on? It isn t even on the arm they drew blood from, and has spread up my arm, and is on my upper chest above my breast?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thanks for putting your query over here.
Considering the clinical scenario you mentioned, rash has nothing to do with the blood drawn. Is the rash associated with pain and burning sensation over skin(herpes zoster infection)? Also would like to know if you have any other complaints like fever, respiratory or gastrointestinal complaints? In that case, the cause may be infectious,in which case you need to visit a physician. If the cause is allergic, the symptoms are likely to be relieved when the cause is removed.please talk to your treating doctor regarding modification of new pill you have been started on if that pill is the suspected agent.Stop exposure to any other suspected recent chemicals or allergen. If the symptoms persist or worsen, you may need oral steroids to be taken under physician's supervision only.
Thanks and regards.
