What Causes Rashes On The Body Along With Joint And Muscle Pain?

During the past year I have had a rash on the hot spots of the body (chest, underarms, groin); blepharitis in both eyes, rosacea on cheeks, white flecks and blood in stools, and now muscle and joint pain in both knees, hips, shoulders, neck and back. As I was a very healthy and active 60 year old prior to this I believe they are all connected the separate doctors disagree. Any ideas? Bacteria? autoimmune? Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to viral infection.

For that you can apply hydrocortisone ointment locally. Take tablet loratidine.

For joint pain you can take tablet acetaminophen. Apply diclofenac gel or ointment locally. Heating pads will also help.

Take proper rest and use support while walking. In case of fever you may require blood investigation after physician consultation

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
