What Causes Rashes On The Body While On Amoxicillin?
3yr old grandson was given amoxicillin to treat double pneumonia. hes been taking 10ml twice a day and has been doing that for the last 7 days. tonight he has a rash that is on his body and legs. he has no fever, runny nose or coughing, he feels good but has this rash. was wondering if it is possible to have an allergic reaction to it after being on it this long. his mom will take him to the dr. in the morning but was wondering if this is possible. forgot to mention the rash is underneath the skin. he also has had his mmr

It may be the allergy to ampicillin. Other reasons of allergy due to viral fever are possible. See a specialist it is a curable condition.
