What Causes Rashes On The Body While On Clonidine?
I was recently started on clonidine for bp but only take if my blood pressure is 160 on top or 100 on the bottom which ever but I was high early this morning and took one and this is only my second dose ever and I just took a shower and I am broking out in a rash is this a side effect

It is an allergic reaction to the drug, Clonidin.
Take any antihistamines such Benadryl or Cetirizine for itching and rash. Don't take any more of the drug. Keep yourself under observations if you develop swelling or breathing difficulties go to ER for epinephrine and Prednisone injections.
