What Causes Rashes On The Chest?

So, i had a scabies rash and was treated, the rashes went away. About three weeks later, a rash broke out across my chest which also itched but was more mild than the last infection. The doctor i went to gave me prednisone for a week and it went away. A week after i finished my last dose, the rash has returned. If it was scabies would the rash disappear for a week and return?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Rash from scabies generally does not go away with a steroid (prednisolone) cream or tablet so very likely the second time and last time rash is not related to scabies but mostly to a contact dermatitis. You can try to take the treatment again and use a steroid cream and use it twice a day locally (morning and evening) and in midday you can use a plane moisturizing cream (or just Vaseline). If the symptoms do not improve in 3-4 days or if they get any worse you will need another visit with your doctor.
