What Causes Rashes On The Elbow,neck And Arm After Taking Prednisone?

my husband has recently be diagnosed with Sarcoid disease, he has been taking prednisone for about 3 weeks now, and has broken out in some kind of itchy rash, his elbows, arms, arm pits, neck, behind the ears and his groin area, and his back. Could this be caused from the medicine?

Hi,
Actually prednisolone is a steroid, and it has very vast anti inflammatory effect.

consult with physician First rule out different cause of rash , itching

and overall any drug can cause reaction /side effect.
