General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Rashes are a part of lupus and it persists for long and typically called a butterfly rash.

Generally, no treatment is required and it will settle by itself.

If it persists for long, you can consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
