What Causes Rashes On The Face And Neck While On Norvasc?

I started Norvasc a week ago. I have a rash / flushing / heat in my face and neck. The medicine seems to have stopped my Angina. Will I necessarily need to stop the medication? (I have email and picture sent to my MD earlier today...still waiting to hear back).
