What Causes Rashes On The Legs And Palms?

I am experiencing a skin rash that i believe is a food allergy It started friday . I have had one other allergic reaction to a medication a few years ago and got a body rash much like this one . I believe this came from a mixed drink that contained berries . Its a red itchy rash that moves around , mainly on my arms sides and tops of my legs . My palms and feet also itch bbut no rash . My throat feels like i have a knot in it . I started taking benedryl as i am without insurance at the moment so cannot afford a dr visit . Is there anything else i can do to relieve the rash or speed up recovery ?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I would advise you to take Levocetrizine group of drugs for your skin rash. Also you need to do a blood test for allergy.
Also try to avoid foods you are allergic to.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
