What Causes Raw Red Bruising On Inner Thigh Along With Mild Odor?

At the line where my public hair starts on the inside of where my right thigh joins with my pelvis I am experiencing excessive chaffing and it has gotten quite raw and red and my skin is peeling off in that section like it would after wearing a chaffing sandal on a we foot and has a mild odor. My period just started today and I hadn t had it since the first week in May so I haven t been wearing any panty liners or pads for that period of time and this has been going on for a couple weeks now so I m not sure what is causing it. Do you have any suggestions on what could have encited this recent affliction? Also, what would you recommend doing to quell it? I have tried moisturizers like vaseline and haven t had any luck.
