What Causes Reactive VRDL Test Result Inspite Of Taking Doxycycline?
Hi! I am Lane L. Diaz 30 years old, height 5 5 weight 62,i have big problem sir/mam please help me i have vdrl reactive,and i go to my doctor that was on August 3, 2015 i taken already antibiotics doxycycline 100g. withend 2weeks.after that my doctor told me after 2weeks i need to test again my blood. this day, i go to the laboratory,and im done to test again my blood the result VDRL-REACTIVE again and i dont know what to do?what is the fastest treatment of this vdrl reactive.

Once the you had an infection, the antibodies persist for long and hence VDRL will be positive long duration. It doesn’t mean that you are infective.
