General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The burning sensation while urination will be due to urinary tract infection. Go for a urine culture and start antibiotics. Most cases respond well to antibiotics.

If bleeding persist better to consult a gastroenterologist and plan for a colonoscopy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
