What Causes Rectal Bleeding During Bowel Movements?

I m having blood with puss clots coming out of my rectum when I push while trying to make a bowel movement . Bright red blood. No pain really and only happens when I try and go to the bathroom .. no leakage or anything. Went to the er with this complain and after rectal exam there were no trace of any blood or abnormalities. What could be going on ?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history about your uncle and understood your concerns.
Per-rectal bright red blood without any pain or other symptoms along with pus in stool only on forcing for passing motion can be due to the following reasons:
Hemorrhoids or piles.
Polyp or cancerous growth too cause painless bleeding per-rectum.
I would advise you the following:
Tests of stool for three consecutive days.
Colonoscopy and consultation of a General Surgeon as Doctors in ER may not be an experienced ones.
All such things will definitely lead to a proper diagnosis.
Surgical cause may need a surgery and if the cause is medical one, it is necessary to take medications as required.
Till them have Sitz bath in a tub with warm water.
Take laxatives to keep stools soft.
Watch for any further bleeding or so.
You may need a course of an antibiotic, metronidazole and probiotics.
Avoid the foods and beverages that cause the symptoms.
