What Causes Rectal Bleeding Post A Surgery For Prolapsed Rectum?

Hi. I have a prolapsed bladder n I m sure I have a kidney n bladder infection. I had surgery on my prolapsed rectum in April. But its sticking out again with the stitches n I m bleeding .between both issues I m so uncomfortable n in pain. There s no urgent care open in our area.and my surgeon had no on call number...should I call 911 n go to the er?

Hello,

So a bleeding post-surgery is unusual and you should immediately visit ER. It can be due to a bleeding vessel that needs to be ligated immediately or sometimes due to infection.
