What Causes Rectal Bleeding,dizziness And Rise In Heart Rate?

I have had some rectal bleeding.I have also lost 7 pounds in the last 12 days, without trying. I had a small bout of rectal bleeding a couple weeks ago and then went on Prednisone for bursitis in my knee.Today was my last day on prednisone.The bleeding started again yesterday.Yesterday and today I have also had some bouts with dizziness and heart rate increased (105-120 per minute, at rest, at times). I am wondering if it is just anemia symptoms. I m also wondering if this is something I need to take care of right away or can wait to contact my doctor and get an appointment later in the week.

You need an urgent appointment and colonoscopy. It may be Haemorrhoides, or some rectal growth. Unexplained weight loss makes the suspicion of cancer or any other disease of the colon.
Your symptoms are due to weakness and anemia.
