What Causes Recurrent UTI?

I having slight burning that comes and goes I have been tested for disease and nothing shows up! I'm 43 and have fibroids no pain during sex either. I did get tested and they said I had infection so I took antibiotics and gone, came back again. Can my partner have something in his sperm that causes me to have UTIs or infections? Again they tell me not a transmitted disease but I get infections could I have a reaction to his sperm?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi dear,
It will be fine if you can get an urine culture test done so that we can identify the exact organism and gig the correct antibiotic.
Also, a course of antibiotics to the partner also can offer help in preventing frequent recurrences.

Hope this answer will help.
Thank you.
