What Causes Recurrent Burning Sensation At The Vaginal Entrance?

Hi, I have an irritating burning/itching sensation just around the entrance to my vagina and although no excessive discharge, there is a faint unpleasant odour. The burning comes as goes but tends to be worse at night. I recently started taking microgynon and was wondering if it s maybe something to do with that? It is becoming unbearable

Hi

Vaginal itching and foul smell occurs more likely due to vaginal infections.A course of antibiotics should be taken.Vaginal hygiene and ph should be maintained with vaginal washes.Adequate hydration is required.A thorough per vaginal examination ,may also be required to rule out any growth.Any history of urinary infection should be ruled out.
Hope that was helpful.Let me know if i can assist you further.
