My left hand falls asleep gradually but ends with severe burning in the whole hand. I need to get out of bed and walk the floor moving the arm. Usually takes approx. 1/2 hr before hand relawes, pain and burning gone, and am able to go back to sleep. I usually experience this one to two times, maybe three, a night. What can I do to stop this pain//burning more quickly. It is so severe it brings me to tears quite a bit. During daytime hours, occasionall, I have tingling and numbness and need to use/move the hand to start circulation. Is there anything I can do, during nighttime, to bring circulation back to the hand more quickly. Do you suggest a neurologist, pain management or something other. Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.
