What Causes Recurrent Choking In The Throat After Eating?
Hi! I suffer with the issue of getting food stuck in my tonsils a lot. I usually get it out but thi time, I might have caused a small gash in the tonsil and when i check it, it seems as if there is food INSIDE of the cut. There is also some remaining at the back, out of my reach. Will the food be pushed out as the tonsil heals, or will it cause a major problem? Hoping for good news. Thanks very much.

Why the food accumulating on the tonsils? Have you had tonsil stone dislodged? Any drained cryptic abscess drained with lacunae. So gargling with a mouth wash after food. Use antibiotics like tablet Amoxiclavulinate twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
