Hi dear..your little one must be really sick.... I would suggest you to continue the antibiotic and maxtra and nasoclear for a few more days.
I understand its very hard and painful to see your little one in distress..
But medication and more medication is not the solution for the child.
How long have you given the child these medications.. if its less than a week, i would request you to wait a week, though i know its hard on the baby.
But cold with medication takes aweek and without takes seven days... this is a saying in our medical fraternity.
So, i request you to wait a week and continue breast feeding ... as the nasal blockage ... ( you can try saline steaming the baby nasal block.. but be careful.. if the vapours are too hot!!)
If after aweek the cold remains, may the antibiotic needs to be changed to amoxicillin .
I hope this helps in some way.
take care dear.
