What Causes Recurrent Cough With Stringy Phlegm?
I have about 1 string like phlem coming up when I cough. I was diagnosed with bronchitis 2 weeks ago and took a Z PAC to get rid of it after I finished the medication I was fine. Now a week and a half after finishing the meds I have this horrible cough again. What could this mean?

Persisting cough and sputum can be due to resistant disease.
You may have to get a sputum examination done along with antibiotic sensitivity test.take precise antibiotics accordingly, along with expectorants and other supportive medication..
