What Causes Recurrent Diarrhea And Abdominal Cramps?

i had an upset stomach and diarrhea 3 days ago. I thought I was better but today it is back and seems worse. I had toast for breakfast and that sent right thru me. I ate some yogurt fir lunch and felt better but now the cramping is back. We were in Florida for two weeks and I ate a lot of seafood. My symptoms started @ 2 days after vacation. Several yrs ago I had diarrhea for 2 weeks after eating scallops. Also, I was on a 10 day course of ciprofloxacin for cellulitis @ 5 weeks ago.

Welcome to HCM and thanks for asking your Query here

As per your medical history your symptoms are most probably related to Food Poisoning
as you ate lots of sea Foods recently high possibilities of Gastric Intolerance and food allergies are also there

It is important to drink lots of water and electrolytes to stay hydrated
drink fresh fruit juice and avoid junk foods as well as over eating and heavy meals

i would strongly suggest you to see Your GP because Persistent Diarrhea should be treated as soon as possible as it can leads to severe Dehydration , so you must visit your Doctor ,he will check you thoroughly may go for some medical investigations to rule out any infection present
